Sponsor a project and be at the heart of the action

Action Education invites you to be at the heart of its missions by sponsoring projects involving entire communities: children, parents, teachers and schools. Choose the project you'd like to sponsor and make a difference in the lives of these communities.

Cambodia: support inclusive and equitable education

In Cambodia, malnutrition or undernutrition, lack of access to drinking water, quality school and health services and infrastructure, lack of qualified teachers, repetition and dropping out of school are real challenges for poor and isolated communities.

By sponsoring this project, you are helping to improve their living conditions through early childhood education, the promotion of reading, school support, the inclusion of children with disabilities, the mobilization of young people in the community and vocational training.

India: give girls access to primary education

In India, a highly patriarchal society deprives millions of girls of their right to education simply because of their social origin or disability.

From birth, they are condemned to poverty and exclusion.

By sponsoring this project, you are helping to change attitudes by giving vulnerable girls access to quality education, so that they can study alongside boys.

Togo: build a caring environment in middle schools

In Togo, schoolchildren face many difficulties: dropping out of school, violence at school, gender discrimination, exclusion of girls, lack of educational support... The dropout rate is therefore very high.

By sponsoring this project, you are supporting students, parents and teachers in their efforts to create a participative and civic-minded environment in middle schools.

Your questions, our answers

We know that making a donation is not a trivial matter. That's why we go to great lengths to be transparent with our donors.

Action Education's accounts are audited every year in each country and at global level by auditors from the EY network, whose financial audit reports can be consulted on our website.

Each year, we publish on our website our Activity Report and the Essentiel de nos comptes. These reports highlight all our projects, the progress we've made, and the tangible impact of your donations. Your trust and support are essential, and we are committed to using your donations efficiently and transparently.

From raising public and official awareness of the importance of education, to teacher training, the development of innovative teaching projects, the distribution of materials and the creation of school infrastructures, your donations enable us to improve access to and the quality of education, so that no one is left behind.

For greater efficiency, Action Education pools donations received for all its projects and allocates them according to real, priority needs. If the donations received for a specific project exceed the commitments made to that project, they will be allocated according to the needs of the other projects.

All donations to Action Education are eligible for a 66% tax deduction, up to a limit of 20% of your taxable income. An annual tax receipt will be sent to you at the end of the first quarter of the following year.

The information collected in this form is recorded in a computerized file by Action Education, in the legitimate interest of our organization. Your data is intended exclusively for our internal teams and third parties mandated by our organization, in order to send you your tax receipt, inform you about how your donation is used, and request your continued support. Your data is not transferred outside the European Union. It is retained only for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above. In accordance with the amended French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, object to, delete, restrict, and port your personal data. To exercise your rights, please contact us at +33 1 55 25 70 00 or by email at mesdonnees@action-education.org. If you believe it is necessary, you may also file a complaint with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority).

The schools in which Action Education works are selected according to the most pressing needs identified: low awareness of the importance of education, social or geographical obstacles to schooling, the impact of poverty, children's learning difficulties, lack of teaching materials, shortage of teachers or unsuitable infrastructure.

Thanks to improved learning conditions and the knowledge acquired at school, they will be better prepared to thrive, continue their education over the long term, access employment and improve living conditions for their families and communities.

At the end of the project, Action Education assesses the project's impact on the community, and decides either to continue supporting the project for a set period, or to stop providing support because the project has met the needs identified. The local players will then continue to manage their educational project independently. An end-of-project report will then be sent to you. We will then suggest a new project. Until you decide which project to sponsor, your donation will fund all Action Education projects.

Sponsorship is a long-term commitment that you can interrupt or suspend for a specific period at any time, simply by requesting it. All you have to do is contact our sponsor relations department by the 22nd of the month preceding the next payment, by e-mail at parrainage@action-education.org or by telephone on 01 55 25 70 00. Our forecasts take into account any unforeseen circumstances that may force you to interrupt your commitment. Whatever your decision, using our resources to finance all our projects enables us to meet our commitments to our communities. Stopping your sponsorship does not interrupt the actions already underway, as donations are pooled to guarantee the continuity of our projects. But every sponsorship counts, and as soon as your situation allows, you will of course be welcome to resume sponsoring a project with us.

It's always best to visit outside the country's school vacation periods. In order to welcome you in the best possible conditions, it is essential that you let us know you are coming. At least 2 months before your departure, please contact our sponsor relations department by e-mail at parrainage@action-education.org or by telephone on 01 55 25 70 00.

It's always best to think collectively and/or pedagogically: dictionaries, atlases, maps, etc. You can also consider sending gifts that introduce the children to your country, culture and way of life, to open them up to the outside world.

We recommend that you send them by letter in padded envelopes (not exceeding 1.2kg), rather than by parcel. This will simplify administrative formalities and help us avoid any customs duties. The address to which you should send your parcel appears on your sponsorship file, so please indicate your file reference. Finally, please do not enter your personal details. Our local team will acknowledge receipt. Your parcels must not contain foodstuffs, medicines, cash or valuables.
